What is included in an end-of-tenancy clean?
Your end-of-tenancy clean should include a thorough clean of every room in the property, from the skirting boards to the light fittings. All floors should be steamed and mopped, all fixed furniture should be cleaned and polished and the insides of the windows should be left without a speck of damp or mould. The bathrooms and kitchen often take the most time when completing an end-of-tenancy clean as all limescale marks and mould should be completely removed from both of those rooms and all the fixtures should be scrubbed until they look shiny and new, including the shower, toilet, sinks etc. As we all know, ovens collect grime and grease very quickly and can be hard to keep on top of cleaning – at Premium Clean we include the cleaning of your oven, hobs and extractor fan in the standard end-of-tenancy clean. We also include the fridge and freezer (but this must be defrosted before we arrive or there would be an extra charge) and the washing machine drawer and drum.

What extras should you consider?
There are some things that are not usually included in an end-of-tenancy clean. For example, the external cleaning of windows are often not included and most of the time it is an unnecessary extra but if your windows are particularly dirty we would recommend that you do get this extra added on. The other thing to consider is if you need to add on additional carpet cleaning London. If you are a landlord, we would recommend that you take this opportunity for a professional to give all carpets a deep clean. If you are a tenant moving out, it really depends on how well you have looked after the carpet and if you think the state of the carpet could affect you getting your full deposit back. Here at Premium Clean we also offer a carpet repair service, so if you have caused any irreparable damage to the carpet, give us a call and we will be able to fully colour match and repair this for you.
